CliftonMEM had started a thread on the topic of "Trip Paralysis" and some of us got sidetracked in the topic of the primates known as Lemurs.
Here is the original thread and right here is more on Lemurs Duke Lemur Project and there are also studies of fossa, Lemurs' natural predators PBS Nova on Fossas

Madagascar and the lemurs are on my life list of travel. Just seems like a "hard" trip as opposed to an easy one.

My vet friend says that www.earthwatch.org will have two "adventure" trips to Madagascar that will work with the lemur teams.

Speaking of lemurs, I was privileged to go here: www.lemurreserve.org/index.html when I worked at the zoo. Just an amazing place - they partner with the Duke project.
