y2k, are your photos from the DeCordova, which you said in another thread you had visited recently? I love the grounds there too...I actually looked into having my wedding reception there, but they had a few too many rules in Lincoln to make it practical. But its gorgeous.

Hopkinton is nice, but I don't go often, as I haven't found much in the way of walking trails there that I like. It is about 5 minutes from my house, however, so I can pop over to take pictures in the late afternoon when the light strikes me as right.

I like the Broadmoor Audobon reserve in Natick better if you are looking for a place to walk around a bit. I don't know what there color will be like next weekend. Either place should have a fair amount of foliage left, however, unless we have a big blow this week.

Tower Hill is an absolute gem. And Saturday was a spectacular day, with the sky blue except for some artistic swirly clouds. I was so glad I went up there, it was just so pleasant. the view, the trees, the gardens. I recommend it if you are up for a somewhat longer drive...about 15 minutes further from Boston than Hopkinton would be.
