The Vermont cheese trip, the Finger lakes in NY, and the Brandywine Valley.

I've driven parts of the Pacific coast highway, but never south of Monterey (and they list only the Monterey-LA section).

This year I'll add a major one, when I drive round the Big Island...

area looked like a great drive too.

Would it be a "great drive" if you'd never drive it yourself? If so, I should think Rajasthan would have some impressive sites along the road,
what with all the forts and such. And I forgot how I've always wanted to do the drive in Chilean Patagonia and see all those...

I will point out that they were apparently trying to get away from JUST scenery with this particular list of drives, when they listed "interesting and
offbeat". The Brandywine drive is more about the history of the area than just the scenery. Not that that changes your point any (in fact it makes the

I've done all or at least a fair part of the California drive, the Florida Keys, Finger Lakes, the Mississippi river, the mid-Atlantic and the Rocky

I didn't read the descriptions in detail so I don't know if they included 17-Mile Drive in the Pacific Coast section. That has been touted as scenic
and gorgeous; I didn't think it was that terrific. Other parts of the highway route were much prettier.
