What, no thread about this yet?

I'm very pleased that Meghan and Cheyne won. They were consistently the best Racers and were pretty calm and pulled together almost all the time. It doesn't hurt that they're from San Diego!

I wish the brothers had taken the wrong plane or something. For a team that hated to be followed, they were still telling their cab driver to "follow that cab" holding Meghan and Cheyne.

I wonder if anyone will ask...

PBS is having their Winter Fest weekend and they are showing old Julia Child's series.

Some of the shows are hilarious. I thought she whacked that knife only when she was cutting chicken, not so. She has been working with a huge fish and she is planning to cut the head and added to the fish stock. She has a clever and she adds a "whack" sound as she attempts to cut the head. No can do, so she whacks and whacks away, she gives up and gets a heavy knife and mumbles...

To make a long story shorter, I bought a Uniden phone/answering system and a satellite station from Costco. I was having an issue that when someone calls and hangs up as soon as they hear my message, I end up with a message on my machine that is one of those phone company "the number you have called is not available. Please try your call again later." HUH? Nothing in the manual explains this. So what do I do? I call their customer service 800 number. I did that yesterday at...

Got my H1N1 shot today. I had ordered one from my own doctor, but then the vaccine was in short supply. Since we're traveling soon (YEAAA!) I thought I'd do one of the public clinics to get it over with. I went to one location---booked till the end of the week, so I raced over to another one closer to the house.
