I'm looking at flying to Houston for Christmas. Continental does nonstops from Ft. Myers. My beloved American must go through Dallas. Prices are almost the same, but how much does Continental charge for a checked bag (which I'm pretty sure I'd need)? They are free for me on American, so adding $50 round trip -- I'm guessing it is $25 each way, makes a little difference, not to mention not getting my American miles.

A coupe of months ago, I planted two little basil plants next to a palm tree in our condo yard. My neighbor mentioned this morning she's been using it a lot, but I hadn't looked. OMG, there are two bushes nearly 3 feet high by 3 feet in diameter each. I could harvest about a bushel of basil. So pesto is in order. My cuisinart is on the ready, and I have the basic recipe. Some of us here on Fodor's, TTG and Facebook have been planning a massive GTG for 2010. After much debate, the decision was made to have it in Santa Fe, New Mexico for the weekend of September 10-12, 2010. Since some of us will be traveling a great distance, the festivities might start a day or two earlier and go on a day or two after.

Wasn't that fun tonight!!??!?! I have to admit I had seen a spoiler and thought I knew who was going tonight, but the editing of tonight's show sure had me doubting that I had read or remembered it correctly. Yes, I still love my iPhone.
But, no video.
Now, not enough room for my music?
I never owned an iPod, still don't.
I spent time putting a TON of music on my home computer.
When my phone syncs now, it tells me it doesn't have room for it all.
Okay, so it's not a substitute for owning an iPod.
But how can I edit or select the music that the phone will sync to, since it can't absorb all that's on my computer.

My sister and I were looking for a Baltic cruise for early autumn 2010, but there ain't none that late in the year.
We'd want to start in London, have a couple of days there, and then return to New York. I'm thinking without port stops I might go stir-crazy. I've been on one 7-day cruise before (Alaska) but on 5 of the seven days we had port stops with lots of activity and excursion options. For now only made reservation for the August cruise along Norway coast, RT from Copenhagen, crossing the Polar Circle. It looks, only 2 days in Copenhagen, but better then nothing.

Need to figure out where to stay and what to see - and the mermaid won't be there

OK, as I was told it was a huge mistake I didn't ask any questions, I am asking for advices now.

We'll be in Miami in January 4 nights pre-cruise, then off to Honduras, Belize, Mexico, Bahamas I think, back home.

And if somebody is there, we can GTG Friday January 8 or Saturday January 9.

Staying at Clinton, with tax and resort fees $100 a night.

Baltic cruise, 2010, late Sept or early Oct?

I don't know why but every year I start thinking about the family starting early in November all the way through Christmas.
